\"\"<\/a>Beyond Type 1 ha sido nombrado socio caritativo oficial de la Maratón de la Ciudad de Nueva York TCS 2019. 2019 será el tercer año consecutivo de Beyond Type 1 con un equipo que corre en Nueva York, y cuenta con un equipo de 30 corredores que viven con diabetes tipo 1.<\/p>\n

El equipo de Beyond Type Run correrá por los cinco condados de la ciudad de Nueva York el 3 de noviembre de 2019 para inspirar a aquellos  impactados por esta enfermedad crónica y autoinmune en todo el mundo. Estas personas tienen como misión crear conciencia y recaudar fondos para la diabetes tipo 1 como embajadores de la organización sin fines de lucro Beyond Type 1.<\/p>\n

“Con el generoso apoyo de Dexcom y Tandem Diabetes Care, tenemos la oportunidad de reunir a un increíble grupo de corredores y elevar sus voces e historias. Beyond Type Run está diseñado para mostrar a nuestra comunidad y al mundo exactamente lo que significa vivir más allá de la diabetes tipo 1 «, dijo Thom Scher, CEO de Beyond Type 1.<\/p>\n

Beyond Type Run está compuesto por 30 corredores que suman un total de 385 años de experiencia viviendo con diabetes tipo 1. El equipo estará co-capitaneado por el CEO y cofundador de Rhone, Nate Checketts, junto con el conductor de NASCAR, Ryan Reed.<\/p>\n

«Este equipo está compuesto por personas que son excelentes ejemplos de lo que puede lograrse viviendo con diabetes tipo 1, y ser capitán de un equipo de personas que justo pueden demostrarlo-  es simplemente increíble. Espero que la gente encuentre inspiración en lo que estamos haciendo. El hecho de que algo sea difícil no significa que no pueda hacerse «, dijo el co-capitán Ryan Reed.<\/p>\n

Más de 400 socios benéficos oficiales formarán parte del Maratón TCS de la Ciudad de Nueva York 2019, que brindará a miles de corredores la oportunidad de correr en la maratón más popular del mundo.<\/p>\n

«La diabetes tipo 1 puede ser un reto pero Beyond Type 1 demuestra que no tiene porqué ser limitante. Como miembro de la junta de Beyond Type 1, estoy encantado de co-capitanear a este equipo con Ryan y correr junto a un equipo inspirador de personas, para demostrar que podemos vivir más allá de esta enfermedad «, dijo el co-capitán del equipo Nate Checketts.<\/p>\n

El equipo Beyond Type Run de 2019 de Beyond Type es posible gracias al apoyo de los patrocinadores principales Dexcom<\/a> y Tandem Diabetes Care<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Los patrocinadores de prendas de vestir Alala<\/a> y Rhone<\/a> proporcionarán kits para los corredores. Withings<\/a>, una compañía de tecnología francesa que innova dispositivos de salud conectados, proporcionará los relojes inteligentes de HR HR Sport para cada miembro del equipo Beyond Type Run.
