La raza de una persona no deber&iacute;a jugar un factor decisivo en su atenci&oacute;n, sino m&aacute;s bien su gen&eacute;tica individual. Un ejemplo presentado indic&oacute; que a muchas personas afroamericanas con diabetes no se les mide el <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/beyondtype1.org\/es\/comprender-tu-a1c\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A1c<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> debido a que su raza tiene hist&oacute;ricamente niveles m&aacute;s altos de A1c, por lo que consideraban que la prueba era &ldquo;inadecuada&rdquo;.
