¿Qué te inspiró a unirte al equipo?<\/b><\/p>\n

Me uní al equipo de Beyond Type Run porque quería reunirme con otras personas afines que están controlando la misma afección, quienes me podrían dar una idea de cómo manejar mejor la diabetes Tipo 1.<\/span><\/p>\n

¿Qué hay en tu caja de herramientas para el control de la diabetes?<\/b><\/p>\n

Uso una bomba de insulina Tandem t:slim X2 y un Dexcom G6 para manejar mi diabetes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nunca salgo a correr sin…<\/b><\/p>\n

Nunca salgo a correr sin mi Dexcom, bebidas deportivas concentradas y algunas meriendas.<\/span><\/p>\n

¿Cuál es tu merienda favorita para niveles bajos en una carrera?<\/b><\/p>\n

¡Me encantan los geles energéticas Honey Stingers y caramelos chiclosos energéticos Cliff Bloks!<\/span><\/p>\n

¿Cuál es la canción que te da ánimos al correr?<\/b><\/p>\n

¡Todo depende de mi estado de ánimo!<\/span><\/p>\n

¿Cuál ha sido tu herramienta más útil en lo que has entrenado?<\/b><\/p>\n

La herramienta más útil que he usado para entrenar ha sido mi MCG (medidor continuo de glucosa) Dexcom G6 para administrar mi azúcar en la sangre en tiempo real.<\/span><\/p>\n

¿Cuál ha sido el mayor obstáculo del entrenamiento?<\/b><\/p>\n

Mi mayor obstáculo en el entrenamiento ha sido tratar de incorporar salir a correr con mi agenda alocada.<\/span><\/p>\n

¿Cuál es tu momento más embarazoso al correr?<\/b><\/p>\n

Casi me he tropezado varias veces cuando corro temprano por la mañana.<\/span><\/p>\n

La lesión que estoy tratando actualmente es…<\/b><\/p>\n

Me duelen los pies constantemente, ¡pero el calzado Oofos me ha ayudado bastante!<\/span><\/p>\n

¡Mucha mantequilla de maní!<\/span><\/p>\n

¿Qué te pone más nervioso por el día del maratón?<\/b><\/p>\n

Me pone nervioso ya no poder más en la milla 20 con solo 10K para llegar al final.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regresaré a estudiar para mi examen de Defensa del huésped, eso es menos de cinco días después.<\/span><\/p>\n
