Let’s Talk Lows
How To Manage Your Blood Sugar
Hypoglycemia—or low blood sugar (“lows“)—is one of the most difficult, frightening, and stressful aspects of having diabetes.
Low blood sugars can affect your mental and physical health, and learning how to prevent and manage them takes effort, especially if you use insulin or other drugs that can cause them.
The focus of Beyond Type 1’s “Let’s Talk Lows” campaign is hypoglycemia. If you or a loved one suffers from hypoglycemia, this resource addresses the causes, symptoms, and potential therapies.
