Every year, the American Diabetes Association’s summer camps give thousands of children the opportunity to make life-changing connections with other kids with type 1 diabetes. This year, Imagine Camp went virtual, offering campers the chance to stay connected and safe during COVID-19.
Imagine Camp included a weekly speaker series that took place all throughout summer and was co-produced by the ADA and Beyond Type 1 and hosted by Rob Howe. The series, “Imagine Spotlights,” featured conversations with impressive individuals living with diabetes, serving as a weekly dose of inspiration and fun experience for campers and their families at home.
