Cindy Wenig is a transplant to the San Francisco Bay Area from New York City. Cindy graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University, where she was a proud member of the Triangle Club musical theater group. She has a law degree from Columbia and after graduating rose from associate to real estate partner at Chadbourne & Parke LLP. She developed T1D at age 32 after negotiating a marathon real estate transaction and practically living in a conference room for two weeks. Eventually, Cindy became General Counsel of Apollo Real Estate Advisors, a private equity fund based in New York City. Her volunteer endeavors have included women’s advocacy groups, the rebuilding of The World Trade Center (as pro bono counsel) and improving school lunches. Cindy relocated to the Bay Area in 2011, as her husband joined eBay. They have two children.
