Dan DeSalvo, MD, (or Dr. Dan as his patients call him) is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Section of Diabetes and Endocrinology at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital.  He completed residency training in Pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine, followed by Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at Stanford University. As a sophomore in college, his life changed forever when he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. As a clinician and researcher, his greatest passion is helping others live well with diabetes! Daniel enjoys an active life, which includes running, cycling, swimming, skiing, hiking and chasing around his two young boys!
