Tracey McCarter has been a part of the organization since its inception in 2015 when she served on the organization’s Leadership Council. In 2018, she was elected to the Board of Directors. In 2022, Tracey served as the Interim CEO for five months. For over a decade, she has served as a dedicated philanthropist, raising millions of dollars for type 1 efforts since her daughter Charlize was diagnosed in 2009 at the age of 4. She was recognized in 2017 by JDRF’s Orange County chapter as its Gala Honoree, after years of service to JDRF efforts in California. Prior to joining the world of philanthropy, she held a variety of operations, marketing, and managerial positions at various companies. She currently serves on the Spouse & Partner Community Board for the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her husband Josh and daughters Sydney and Charlize.
