On Nov 3, the 2019 Beyond Type Run Team took on 26.2 miles throughout the five boroughs of New York City. They pushed themselves to the limit and for many on the team, it was their first-ever marathon. Thankfully, the team had some of the best tools in the trade at their disposal. Running a marathon is a monumental challenge. Running a marathon while living with type 1 diabetes is all the more impressive. Every member of the team crossed the finish line and they couldn’t have done it without the help of our amazing sponsors.
