PROGRAM
Beyond Ambassadors
We surveyed our ambassador community and the message was clear: you wanted a defined role, better training, local ways to connect and leadership opportunities that actually mean something. The revamped program drops September 1st.
Real change starts with people like you.
Beyond Ambassadors is a community of people connected to diabetes — turning personal narratives into policy change, peer education, and real-world impact.
Whether you’re living with T1D or T2D, caring for someone who is, or working alongside this community, you already have what it takes. Being a Beyond Ambassador means channeling your experience into something bigger — advocating for change, educating others and proving that the diabetes community has the power to change what’s possible.

Wanna Take Action Now?
We've partnered with Diabetes Patient Advocacy Coalition to support new legislation to make insulin more affordable. Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA) and Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) joined Senate Diabetes Caucus Co-Chairs Susan Collins (R-ME) and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) in introducing the Improving Needed Safeguards for Users of Life-saving Insulin Now (INSULIN) Act. This legislation would make insulin more affordable for people on commercial health insurance plans—capping copay costs at $35— and help improve access to insulin for those who are uninsured. Take action and send a letter to your elected officials today!
