Blueberries, lemon and bourbon…oh my! Just like Mariana, her purple bourbon recipe is a real treat to have around. Not only is it easy to make but it’s beautiful too. Now remember, blueberries DO have carbs. This recipe uses 5 blueberries—7 if you ate the ones used as garnish. Half a cup of blueberries contain around 9 grams of carbs so keep that in mind if you count your carbs.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ ounces Bourbon
- ½ ounce lemon juice
- 5 blueberries (2 extra for garnish—optional)
- 1 teaspoon Erythritol
- Sparkling water
- Crush your 5 blueberries until juice is released. Place elegantly in your glass.
- Add the following ingredients to your shaker: ice, bourbon, lemon juice and artificial sweetener.
- Shake!
- Pour and garnish.
