From a single Instagram in February 2015, to 16 digital platforms, 18 grantees and 15 current native programs, Beyond Type 1 has become a global leader, amassing the largest type 1 diabetes (T1D) and type 2 diabetes (T2D) online communities in the world.
In partnership with some of the most iconic brands in the industry, Beyond Type 1 provides resources that enhance the lives of those impacted by diabetes and change the landscape of diabetes management. In the creation of singular native programs that support community building, education and advocacy outreach, we are redefining what it means to live and thrive beyond a diabetes diagnosis.
Beyond Type 1 has funded some of the most innovative efforts, technology and resources focused on diabetes education and advocacy, as well as research and efforts paving the way to a type 1 diabetes cure.
