Simone is Chief Executive Officer of Beyond Type 1, where she leads the organization’s mission to change what it means to live with diabetes—boldly and unapologetically. She is focused on advancing innovation, expanding impact, and accelerating progress for people affected by diabetes around the world.
With more than 20 years of experience across healthcare, digital health, and nonprofit leadership, Simone has built her career at the intersection of mission, growth, and transformation.
Prior to joining Beyond Type 1, she served as Chief Marketing & Digital Officer at the American Diabetes Association. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at UnitedHealthcare, Optum, and DiRx Health.
Simone is passionate about building sustainable impact through innovation, technology, and community while keeping humanity at the center of every decision. She believes the most meaningful progress happens when people, organizations, and partners across the healthcare ecosystem unite around a shared goal: helping everyone affected by diabetes thrive.
