Diabetes Self-Management Highlights Two Grantees of Beyond Type 1

Beyond Type 1 will give grant money to the Wind River Project (a 11-minte documentary about three climbers with Type 1) and Riding on Insulin (a T1D kids camp for snow sports and dirt biking). Sarah Lucas, CEO and co-founder of Beyond Type 1 says, “Our current portfolio includes 11 grants and 32 programs impacting three key areas: education, advocacy, cure. We look for opportunities that maximize our investments and have the greatest [impact] for the Type 1 community.”
