On May 29, 2024, Tandem Diabetes Care and Dexcom, Inc. shared exciting news: the Tandem Mobi insulin pump is now fully compatible with the Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor (CGM).

This tech combo is a game-changer for people with diabetes! The Tandem Mobi works with both the Dexcom G7 and G6 to predict blood sugar 30 minutes ahead. It even adjusts insulin automatically to help prevent spikes and lows.

With the new integration, Tandem Mobi users can enjoy:

Advanced Control-IQ technology

Control-IQ, the pump’s advanced hybrid closed-loop system, predicts blood sugar levels and adjusts insulin to avoid highs and lows. This tool improves time in range , keeping users healthier day and night.

FDA approval and launch highlights

Approved by the FDA in July 2023 for ages six and up, Tandem Mobi debuted in the U.S. as the smallest and most durable automated insulin delivery (AID) system.
