Nancy D'Hondt, RPh, CDCES, FAADE

Nancy D’Hondt is a clinical pharmacist and diabetes care and education specialist at Henry Ford St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She has been a passionate advocate for people with diabetes as a clinician and volunteer. Her involvement in the diabetes landscape spans over 20 years, during which she has served in leadership roles for ADA, ADCES, DLC, and CBDCE.

She continues to promote patient-first policies, access, and affordable care for all persons living with diabetes. She earned a B.S. in pharmacy from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI; achieved her Certified Diabetes Educator distinction in 2008; and was recognized as a fellow of ADCES in 2011. The Beyond platform integrates clinical expertise and patient experience to provide valuable and relevant Content. I am excited to contribute to these quality resources and promote powerful connections, and I am honored to serve as a scientific advisor.
