Classic mojitos are delicious. But the sugar? Not so much. This bourbon twist on the original has less than 2 grams of carbs per serving, so you can actually enjoy it without all the mental math.
Ingredients
- 1½ oz bourbon
- 1 tsp erythritol or your preferred zero-carb sweetener
- ½ oz lime juice
- A few fresh mint leaves
- 2 oz sparkling water
Instructions
- Add lime juice, sweetener, and mint leaves to a glass and muddle gently.
- Fill the glass with ice.
- Pour in the bourbon, top with sparkling water, and give it a stir.
Note: Alcohol can cause delayed hypoglycemia. Check your CGM and have a snack on hand if needed.
