Beyond Diagnosis is a clinically-reviewed diabetes management support program. At the center is our Beginner’s Guides to Thriving with Diabetes–toolkits available for people living with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes, in English and Spanish. 

The program also includes our Community Guide, filled with bite-size advice for life with diabetes from people managing diabetes 24/7/365.

Although the program works as a standalone resource for newly diagnosed individuals, we all know personal guidance and support lead to better health outcomes. 

To make it easy for you to help people with diabetes thrive, we’ve created tools to help you guide people with diabetes through the steep learning curve.

Our Implementation Guide includes everything you may need to know to best support a person newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes in an individual or group learning setting. 

It provides detailed instructions for conducting educational sessions on diabetes management, utilizing the Beginner’s Guides to Thriving with Diabetes as the curriculum.

Each section of the Implementation Guide provides the instructor with an overview of the diabetes education topic, an outline with essential teaching points, engaging group activities and reflection prompts.
