Low Carb Old Fashioned—A Sugar-Conscious Twist on a Classic

Who doesn’t love a good Old Fashioned? This classic cocktail can be enjoyed with less impact on your blood sugar levels. Easy to make and even easier to sip—and it clocks in at just around 4 grams of carbs.
Cheers to that!
Ingredients
- dash of bitters
- RYE whiskey or bourbon to taste
- 1 sugar cube
- Orange peel (as much as you want or like)
Instructions
- Place a sugar cube in your glass.
- Add bitters gently, allowing them to mingle with the sugar until fully dissolved.
- Add ice!
- Pour in your choice of whiskey or bourbon.
- Garnish with a twist of fresh orange peel for a fragrant finish!
