JOIN TEAM BIKE BEYOND AND GEAR UP FOR FUN!

The Bike Beyond Team is kicking off in NYC and crossing the finish line in San Francisco this summer, showing the world that anything is possible with type 1 diabetes. These 20 incredible individuals with type 1 diabetes (T1Ds) will be destroying stereotypes along the way and organizing community events to raise awareness, to educate people about T1D and to help find a cure for the condition.

You don’t have to ride 4248 miles to be a part of Bike Beyond. You can join the team by raising funds virtually, having fun and bringing awareness of T1D in your community and on social media. All funds raised go to education, advocacy and cure research for type 1.

How can I participate?

• Sign-up and join the team as an individual
• Organize an event in your community. (It could be a dance-a-thon, spin-a-thon, a tricycle ride, a run/walk or maybe just a spandex-a-thon if that is your thing.)
• Fundraise virtually (share your classy webpage with friends and family).
• Visit our Do-it-yourself Fundraiser page for more inspiration.

Could I win prizes for fundraising?

You bet! Beyond Type 1 will organize contests to motivate you to reach your goal, raise awareness and have fun.

Can I participate without raising money?
