Justin Wright
Justin Wright is an 18-year-old Kansas State freshman majoring in Business Entrepreneurship. He was diagnosed on July 4, 2015 when he was on a family vacation. Three days later he was also diagnosed with Celiac disease. Justin continued to push himself after his diagnosis, lettering in three different sports in high school. He also broke the school record for Javelin, won first place in several meets including the Eastern Kansas League Meet. He was a two-time state qualifier as well. Justin loves to travel, and in the summer of 2017 visited 17 different states. Justin now hopes to empower and encourage those who are newly diagnosed that they can live a limitless life despite their disease. He plans to pursue big goals and adventures as an example for younger T1’s to follow. You can follow Justin on Instagram @ohheyimjustin. Fun fact about Justin: He taught himself to do a backflip on the wrestling mats and now will randomly do backflips.
